Hey everyone! 👋 Quick progress log for the week.
Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time architecting and building automated Telegram bots, so I am really excited to share my newest task with the gheero Youth Advisory Council.
We are expanding the reach of a new AI-powered Telegram chatbot called Wede Salon, which is designed to provide confidential Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) information to young people across Ethiopia.
I need 100 of you to help me test it out, and there is something in it for everyone here:
🧑💻 For the developers & tech folks: This bot is a great case study in local language NLP. It handles both text and voice-note recognition in Amharic, Afaan Oromo, and English. I’m really curious to see how the architecture processes complex edge cases and maintains conversational context. I want you to go stress-test the speech-to-text models and let me know how accurate the response latency feels!
