XGames Version 3.1 — Coming Soon
Version 3.1 will be one of the biggest XGames updates yet. We’ve been working on major improvements across the entire app, from emulation and offline gaming to subscriptions, game information, stability, and more.
Full PS2 Emulator Integration
The PS2 emulator has now been fully integrated directly into XGames.
No complicated setup, configuration, or external apps will be required. Simply download a PS2 game and start playing, just like you already do with the other sections inside XGames.
After completing the PS2 integration, we’ll begin working on PS3 integration.
Offline Gaming
Version 3.1 introduces offline gaming.
Once a game has been downloaded, it can be played without an internet connection. Offline gaming will be available exclusively to XGames subscribers.
Completely Improved Subscription System
We have significantly reworked the subscription system.
Previously, some users could successfully complete their purchase but their subscription would not activate correctly inside the app.
We’ve rebuilt and improved the way subscription status and activation are handled to make the entire system much more reliable.
Updated Embedded Emulators
The emulators integrated directly into XGames have been updated to newer versions.
We’ve also fixed numerous emulator-related issues and made improvements to stability, compatibility, and the overall gaming experience.
Game Languages
We have improved the information available on each game’s details page.
Instead of displaying the game’s Region, XGames will now display its supported Languages.
You’ll be able to check exactly which languages a game supports before downloading it.
Improved Ad Blocker Detection
We fixed an issue where some users could receive an Ad Blocker warning even though they weren’t actually using one.
Starting with Version 3.1, the warning will only appear when an Ad Blocker is actually detected.
Bug Fixes and Other Improvements
Version 3.1 also includes many additional bug fixes, stability improvements, performance optimizations, and smaller improvements throughout the application.
What’s Next
Our work doesn’t stop with Version 3.1.
After completing the new PS2 experience, our next major emulation project will be PS3 integration directly inside XGames.
XGames Version 3.1 is coming soon.
