Hi there, guys! 👋
I’ve been quite sick for the last couple of weeks, BUT… something amazing happened! ✨
We celebrated my mom’s birthday and decided to prepare a trip to Baku as her birthday present. I was in charge of organizing everything — finding an apartment, booking flights, planning our route around the city… while my dad was in charge of the most important part: paying for everything 😂
And yes… I was sick as hell while doing all of that. 😅
Anyway, we made it to Baku last week! 🇦🇿
I honestly don’t remember the last time I was this astonished by a place — the culture, the food, the people, the atmosphere… everything was such a pure pleasure to experience!
And here’s a fun fact: it ended up being just me and my mom because, somehow, the other members of my family decided to dump us. 😂
So we explored Baku on foot — and when I say on foot, I mean 25,000 steps every single day! 👣
Was it painful? Absolutely.
Was it worth it? 100%. 😂
I’ll share some pictures with you so you can feel at least a little bit of my excitement! 📸✨
But what matters most to me is something much more personal.
I feel incredibly blessed and privileged that I got to guide my mom through this whole journey. We spent so much time together, discovered a new place together, laughed, got tired, got lost (probably 😅), and simply enjoyed each other’s company.
And somehow, this trip brought us even closer. ❤️
So yes, Baku was beautiful. The food was amazing. The city was unforgettable.
But having this experience with my mom was the best part of it all. 🥹❤️
