📰 NEWS | Venezuelan Gov’t Creates Construction Training Program, Delivers Houses to Earthquake Victims
Venezuela’s government is advancing several post-earthquake recovery initiatives, including a new national training program for construction workers, housing for displaced families and subsidized reconstruction loans for condominium boards.
Acting President Delcy Rodríguez also announced a new National Popular Consultation for October 18, after the previous consultation was postponed following the June earthquakes. The vote will allow communities organized in communal circuits to choose local infrastructure and social projects for government funding, with condominium boards and neighborhood associations also included this time.
