Let’s take a minute to protect our hard-earned money.
The Middleman Trick 🕵️♂️
Recently, scammers started using a sneaky method to look trustworthy but it’s a pure scam.
Here’s how they do it 👇
1️⃣ Scammer pretends to sell PLN (for example, “500 PLN available DM”)
2️⃣ A real buyer messages them and asks for 1 PLN BLIK as a test
3️⃣ Scammer doesn’t have a Polish bank, so they:
• Find a real seller in the group
• Tell that seller to send 1 PLN BLIK to the buyer’s number
4️⃣ The buyer receives the 1 PLN, believes it’s legit
5️⃣ Buyer sends ETB → Scammer disappears 🚨
This way, they scam both sides using our own trust against us.
💡 What to Remember:
✅ 1 PLN verification doesn’t mean trust.
✅ Always check the BLIK name and ask extra verification.
✅ Never rush scammers use time pressure to trick you.
✅ Report suspicious users to admins.
