We are updating our still-open US stock positions + Dow Jones. We are seeing somewhat heavier profit-taking in the chip sector, although QCOM still has significant upside potential thanks to its partnership with AMZN. More broadly, investors are taking some profits following the recent gains as they position themselves more cautiously.

The Dow Jones should outperform the Nasdaq - however, we are using a tighter TP , and overall market breadth remains negative. The Dow Jones would be trading significantly higher if biopharmaceutical company Amgen were not down more than 10% (with a 4.4% weighting, it is a "heavyweight" in the Dow Jones).

Oil prices moving back toward their session highs are creating additional headwinds - particularly for cyclical and consumer stocks.
