We are securing nice profits with the Nikkei and also with our INTC position, which is already trading near TP. Our Nikkei is deep in profit. We had expected the gains in the Tech/Chip sector that we saw in Asia to face profit taking. “Unfortunately,” investors - particularly retail investors - bought directly at the New York open and are now sitting on losses. We did exactly the opposite and correctly anticipated the profit taking.

We are tightening the TPs

for our USD/JPY and Gold positions. In Gold, we are seeing some pressure from higher energy prices and concerns that the Fed could raise rates again. Precious metals, however, remain bullish from here, with significant upside potential toward year-end.
