📍ISSI to organise 6th Islamabad Conclave 2026:
✍Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) is scheduled to organise the 6th edition of the Islamabad Conclave 2026 on 9–10 December 2026 at Serena Hotels, Khayaban-e-Suhrwardy Road, opposite the Convention Centre, G-5/1, Islamabad, Pakistan.
✍The Islamabad Conclave was initiated during the tenure of former Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and has subsequently emerged as a platform for discussions on Pakistan's foreign policy, regional security and strategic affairs.
✍The Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) is expected to be one of the principal subjects of discussion during the 2026 edition. Several experts and speakers aligned with Pakistan's strategic and foreign-policy perspectives are expected to participate and deliberate on issues surrounding the treaty, its future and its position on water-sharing.
