FINAL APK BUILD AND VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
After implementing all requested features, build the application using the project's actual Android/Gradle build system.
Do NOT manually create, rename, fake, truncate, or generate an empty APK file.
Run the real debug build, for example:
./gradlew assembleDebug
If the project uses another valid Android build command, use the appropriate real build command.
If the build fails:
1. Read the actual error.
2. Fix the source code/configuration causing the error.
3. Run the build again.
4. Repeat until the debug APK builds successfully.
Do not claim success unless the actual build process reports BUILD SUCCESSFUL.
After a successful build, locate the actual generated APK.
Verify that the APK:
- exists
- is larger than 1 MB
- is a valid ZIP/APK structure
- contains AndroidManifest.xml
- contains classes.dex or valid compiled DEX files
- was produced by the actual Android build process
- is not a placeholder or manually generated file
Then create these directories if they do not exist:
.build-outputs
APK_DOWNLOAD
Copy the SAME verified APK to:
.build-outputs/app-debug.apk
APK_DOWNLOAD/app-debug.apk
Do not create a second fake APK. Both files must be copies of the same real generated APK.
Then create the final downloadable project ZIP.
The ZIP must contain:
.build-outputs/app-debug.apk
APK_DOWNLOAD/app-debug.apk
the complete Android project source code
Gradle/build configuration
AndroidManifest.xml
all required resources/assets
all required source files
The final ZIP must NOT contain:
- 0B APK
- placeholder APK
- fake APK
- text file renamed to .apk
- incomplete APK
Before finishing, verify:
1. APK file exists.
2. APK size is greater than 1 MB.
3. Both APK copies have the same file size.
4. Both APK copies have the same SHA-256 checksum.
5. APK can be recognized as a valid Android APK.
6. Final ZIP contains both APK paths.
7. Final ZIP is not empty or corrupted.
Run verification commands similar to:
ls -lh .build-outputs/app-debug.apk
ls -lh APK_DOWNLOAD/app-debug.apk
sha256sum .build-outputs/app-debug.apk APK_DOWNLOAD/app-debug.apk
unzip -t APK_DOWNLOAD/app-debug.apk
unzip -l APK_DOWNLOAD/app-debug.apk | head
unzip -t FINAL_PROJECT.zip
Only after all verification steps pass, report the build as successful.
IMPORTANT:
If the APK cannot actually be built or verified, do NOT create a fake APK and do NOT claim that the APK is ready. Clearly report the actual build error instead.
