— Indian government forces conducted an operation against the Kuki Liberation Army (KLA) separatists group, capturing a camp belonging to the organization in Gampum, Kangpokpi district of the Manipur region of India. Eight suspected KLA officers were arrested and seven automatic weapons seized.
The KLA is an ethnic Kuki separatist organization active in the northeast Indian Manipur region and in the Indian-Burmese border area.
