— Israel has ordered the British consulate in East Jerusalem to close, with diplomats assigned there set to lose their accreditation within 30 days, according to Reuters.British personnel working from the U.S.-backed International Gaza Support Center in Kiryat Gat, as well as diplomats based in Ramallah, have been given seven days to leave.
Israel’s government is expected to meet today to discuss its response to Britain and other countries that joined the sanctions.
