He called Netanyahu’s response “criminal negligence,” saying he did not “warn the heads of the security establishment,” “prepare Israel for an attack,” “go to the field” or “convene the cabinet.”
Instead, he said Netanyahu was “fueling Hamas,” transferring more money, promising additional workers and pursuing a policy of “buying temporary peace while surrendering to terror.”
Bennett said Netanyahu was “so caught up in his own concept” that even warnings from regional leaders failed to change his approach.
He stressed that Netanyahu “cannot continue to serve in his position for another minute” and accused the government of blocking a state commission of inquiry “for fear of revealing the terrible truth.”
