We would have acted immediately. I would have awakened the entire IDF, I would have alerted the communities, the local security teams, and I would have told the Air Force to strike if anyone even tried to cross the fence.
Maybe some would still have managed to cross, but we would have eliminated them.
I don’t think they did it as part of some conspiracy or betrayal.
It was simply a failure — a huge failure. I would have acted differently. Completely differently.
