— Secretary of War Pete Hegseth removed at least six Army officers from a list of 18 officers approved by their peers for promotion to two-star general, according to NBC News. Several of those removed were logistics officers, and officials said none were known to be under investigation or accused of wrongdoing.
Hegseth has also blocked dozens of other senior military promotions.
