— EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen says the attempted drone attack at Leipzig/Halle Airport last month was carried out using “military-grade material” by Russian operatives on EU soil.She said Europe and NATO “will not just maintain our pressure on Russia, we will increase it,” adding that the pressure would continue until Russia stops “bombing and killing innocent children, men and women” in Ukraine.
Von der Leyen also said that if the attack was intended to make Europe reconsider its support for Ukraine, it had “only strengthened” her resolve.
