MOSCOW, June 2024 (Reuters) – Russian officials indicated that a trilateral summit between President Vladimir Putin, former U.S. President Donald Trump, and Chinese President Xi Jinping might take place at the upcoming APEC meeting. The possibility was raised by Russian envoy Sergei Zarubin. During recent talks between Russian and Chinese leaders, the issue of holding a trilateral summit as well as bilateral discussions with other leaders was discussed, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov told Zarubin.
