MAY 21 – DAY AGAINST WAR AT THE DEPARTMENT OF EARTH SCIENCE
On Thursday, May 21, we’ll be at the Department of Earth Science for another anti-war day!
At a time when fossil fuels play a key role in shaping international conflicts, and with the climate crisis growing more severe, the topics we study at the Department of Earth Sciences are becoming increasingly crucial.
On May 21st, we want to come together again to discuss and socialize, starting with a palestinian meal at lunchtime. Following that, there will be an event with ReCommon and Mario d’Acunto (CNR) to discuss the role of oil in today’s global wars and understand the part our studies play, starting with the DST Master’s program in Geophysics, funded by ENI.
In the weeks leading up to the event, we’ll be at DST with information stands and other opportunities to meet: stop by to learn more, exchange ideas, and share your suggestions!
