The Screenshot Exhibition reflected the lived realities of technology facilitated gender based violence; harassement, threats, bullying, and intimidation that women and girls continue to face online, often in isolation and with little institutional support. These are not isolated incidents, but part of a wider system that polices women’s voices and participation in public life.
Throughout the week, visitors paused, reflected, asked questions, and shared their own stories. Many spoke about how validating it felt to see experiences they were often told to “ignore” or “get used to” taken seriously and displayed.

The conversations sparked are an invitation to listen more closely, challenge TFGBV, and organize collectively toward safer digital spaces for women and girls.
