gavi and I had a lot of good moments, which honestly made the ending harder. we could still laugh together, still talk for hours, and still care about each other, but there was always this feeling that something between us wasn’t right anymore. ee kept misunderstanding each other, saying things we didn’t really mean, then pretending everything was fine just to avoid another argument. eventually, I realized I was spending more time trying to keep the relationship from falling apart than actually enjoying being in it. I didn’t leave because I stopped loving gavi. I left because I didn’t want us to turn all the good memories we had into something bitter. maybe if things had been different, we could’ve worked. but at that point, letting each other go felt like the only way we could stop hurting each other.
