Mr. President,
On the occasion of the National Day of the French Republic, the Cambodian people join me in extending to Your Excellency, as well as to the people of France, our warmest congratulations and best wishes.
The Kingdom of Cambodia attaches the highest importance to the historic bonds of friendship and cooperation that unite us with the French Republic. Built upon mutual trust, reciprocal esteem, and shared values, our relations have continued to grow stronger over the years, both bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks. I am pleased with the excellent quality of our partnership and remain confident that it will continue to deepen for the benefit of our two peoples and in the service of peace, dialogue, mutual understanding, and sustainable development.
I am particularly pleased at the prospect of welcoming Your Excellency to the Kingdom of Cambodia in the near future. I am convinced that this visit will provide fresh momentum to our partnership, promote the expansion of our cooperation in areas of common interest, and further strengthen the bonds of friendship between our two countries.
As members of the great Francophone family, the Kingdom of Cambodia highly appreciates France’s steadfast commitment to the values of La Francophonie. As we approach the Twentieth Francophonie Summit, which the Kingdom of Cambodia will have the distinguished honour of hosting, I look forward to Your Excellency’s participation in this important gathering. I am confident that this meeting will inject new dynamism into our cooperation, both bilaterally and within the Francophonie as well as other multilateral forums, while contributing to the promotion of the ideals of dialogue, cultural diversity, solidarity, peace, and sustainable development, to which we remain deeply committed.
