Prayer pointers week 1 ๐๐
1. Romans 1:1-17 ๐
- Pray that God will humble our hearts โค๏ธ and help us listen to his word, so that we truly see the gospel as our greatest need!
- Ask God to strengthen us by the gospel as we open up the book of Romans together this coming AY, that we may be growing in living out these truths!
2. Regen and NUS ๐
- Praise God that the harvest in NUS is indeed plentiful!
- Pray that in light of ReOrient and what we've seen about advancing the gospel, that we as fellow gospel partners would boldly proclaim it, striving side by side ๐ค and encouraging each other to press on amidst our fears or opposition
3. Regen ISM x Xuesheng Gardens by the Bay Tour ๐ฟ๐ฟ
- Give thanks for new international ๐friends we made, we had over 10 guests who joined us!
- Give thanks that one of us got to share how the gospel has saved us to one of our new friends.
- Pray that we will keep welcoming international students, just as Christ welcomed us.
- Pray that, as we continue to get to know our new friends, that we may have opportunities to give reasons for the hope that we have.
- Pray that we will be intentional in following up with these new friends, and that we be bold to share with them why Jesus matters so much!
- Pray that God will use these gospel words to give them new life and trust in Jesus.
4. SMUCF:
- Pray for God to continue to send people into SMUCF through their CCA fair and their social media channels!
- Pray for Paul to teach from Genesis 12 clearly and that the students would see that they are a ministry that teaches the word that is worth committing to!
- Pray for their upcoming FOC (this week Fri-Sat), that attending students will be keen to listen to God's word, and pray for their students to be a big welcome to everyone, especially those who might be newcomers!
5. Singapore ๐ธ๐ฌ
Thank God for keeping Christians in Singapore safe and free from persecution.
- Pray that our government will continue to lead Singapore well and to maintain policies that allow us to live for Jesus and proclaim the gospel freely.
- Pray that we will indeed live for Jesus and proclaim the gospel freely and boldly โค๏ธโ๐ฅ, not being ashamed of it, but making good use of the opportunities in Singapore!
