PRAYER
Almighty God in Heaven, we pray to You this week for the people of Texas Hill Country affected by the recent flooding. We pray that You will comfort those who have lost homes and livelihoods. Help provide for their needs, and bring restoration. We pray that You will strengthen the churches and communities offering shelter and aid, and fill the people with Your hope and peace.
O Father we are thankful beyond words to be called Your children. We are always mindful and thankful for the wisdom You share with us. Forgive us for where we have faltered, and strengthen us, we pray, through Your Holy Spirit with the strength we need for the week ahead.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
