🇵🇱 #Poland - 🇷🇺 #Russia: A Russian Mi-8 military helicopter briefly violated Polish airspace north of Braniewo today after flying from Russia's Kaliningrad Oblast.
According to the Polish Armed Forces, the helicopter entered Polish airspace to a maximum depth of around 300 meters and remained there for 42 seconds. Polish fighter aircraft were scrambled, while ground-based air defense forces were placed on standby. The Polish military said the incident appeared to be another test of the readiness of Poland’s air defence.
