NON-SCHOOL LEAVER APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
The Papua New Guinea University of Technology (PNGUoT) invites applications from eligible Non-School Leaver (NSL) applicants for admission in Semester 1, 2027 into:
- Undergraduate degree programs offered at the Taraka Main Campus and Bulolo Campus (BUC); and
- Diploma in Wood Processing and Manufacturing offered at Bumbu Campus (TFTC)
APPLICATION PERIOD
Friday, 21 August 2026
Sunday, 17 October 2026
Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications well before the closing date.
HOW TO APPLY
All applicants must apply through the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST) National Online Application System (NOAS).

Applicants must also complete the PNGUoT Online Non-School Leaver Application Form after completing their applications on NOAS.
IMPORTANT: Manual applications and applications submitted by email will not be accepted.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
- Have completed Grade 12 or hold an equivalent qualification; and
- Meet the minimum entry requirements for their preferred program.
Applicants must carefully read and follow all application instructions. Failure to meet the entry requirements or provide the required supporting documents may result in disqualification.
