Right now I’m in a somewhat difficult situation. Let me explain: those of you who know me know that I’m a photographer and filmmaker, but throughout the entire month of June I haven’t been able to find any work, and I’ve already spent my emergency savings—I’m almost out of food. Because of the earthquake that hit the country, the industry I work in—photography and video for social events—has come to a standstill. I’ve even had to refund money because everything was canceled. I’m in an extremely tight spot. I’ll open up a few slots; I’m currently working on the last assignment I have to deliver, and then I’ll be 100% available. My goal isn’t high—it’s just $200 USD. With that, I can manage my money well enough to get by while I wait to return to my work as usual.
