Explosion Occurs Near Main Train Station in Augsburg, Germany; Several People Injured

Early in the morning of September 2nd, an unidentified object exploded near the central train station in Augsburg, according to local police. This caused disruptions to road traffic and public transportation.

As a result of the explosion, two people sustained injuries caused by the acoustic impact.

The train station building is currently closed. Law enforcement officials are investigating the cause of the incident.
