Today, the company is recognized globally as a critical trading partner for refiners, shipping
companies, financial institutions, end-users, and other product-trading companies. The
company trades across the barrel including Crude, Middle distillates, Light distillates, bulk
petrochemicals, polyolefin and recently clean energy like LNG, Emission and Biofuels.
Aramco Trading Singapore (ATS) is the largest subsidiary out of the kingdom and is actively trading within the region and globally across all products since 2018.
The Function:
Responsible for analysing industry performance, competitive analysis, end-use sectoral analysis,
analysing grade portfolios and demand supply scenarios to proactively suggest opportunities and highlight threats to the business.
Key Accountabilities:
• Understand the energy trading environment.
• Automate data processing to create dynamic reports. (Using Scripts such as Python)
• Maintain the current models and systems.
• Provide analytics for daily energy trading news and give daily market updates.
• Provide reports and publish it in user friendly dashboards.
• Develop and refine data mining process including data extraction/pre
processing/modelling/prediction/evaluation.
• Develop forecasting models using techniques such as ARIMA, Neural Networks, Machine
Learning, or other techniques as appropriate.
• Deploy dashboard, visuals to mobile environment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Coding skills in Python / Javascript (Vue/ React)
• Predictive models studies using Machine Learning or modern regression techniques
• Flask, Mongo DB
• R, Simulation modelling
• Mobile App development experience
• UI/ UX experience
