The Banded Bull Frog (Kaloula pulchra) is often heard calling before and after heavy rain.
Recognisable by its rotund body and distinctive yellow-orange bands, this common introduced species can be found in parks, gardens and urban areas, and is even known to perch on tree trunks. 🌧️🪵
