31 Bangladeshi Nationals Sent to Malda for Deportation Process

• Karnataka Police identified 105 suspected Bangladeshi nationals after verifying documents of 2,944 people under Operation Muktha.

• 31 people arrested in Bengaluru were escorted to Malda, West Bengal, for further legal formalities.

• Police allege they had entered India illegally through the West Bengal–Bangladesh border and later travelled to Bengaluru for work.

• They are being kept at a holding centre in Malda and are expected to be handed over to the BSF for further repatriation proceedings.
