Yes, it’s true.
You’ll meet people who won’t appreciate your kindness.
You’ll be surrounded by people you even care about, but who might not always realise how much you’re helping them.
On the path you’re paving for them, they might not see the sacrifices you make or the priority you give them – so what?
Focus on your own path.
Because you’ll certainly meet – and perhaps even love – people who, whilst pointing out their own tiny black speck, won’t see your vast, pitch-black darkness; or people who won’t see just how vital you are to their successes.
But don’t stop achieving your own feats, because we aren’t what others see in us.
Remember that you’ll never become your true self if you give others only what you receive.
And let me remind you that you’re here to embrace your infinite possibilities, not to live by other people’s limitations.
