Allora possiamo restare in ascolto, guardare, sentire.
Pian piano sei cambiata.

Ever since you were a child, you were sensitive.
Even the smallest things aroused vibrant or ecstatic reactions in you:
a gesture, a word, a sad face, a passing cloud or the sound of the wind.
These slips of the soul have long been a problem for you.
You would have preferred to be less sensitive and a little more serene.
You were trying to become an adult, and those childish reactions in your adult life embarrassed you.
You didn't quite know what to do.
Faced with those little tears in your daily life you tried to close your eyes and move on.
You felt that they could upset you, but you didn't want to be upset.
Then, little by little, you learnt to welcome those moving and challenging moments.
And to also welcome all the moods, happy or painful, that arise in correspondence with such moments and live in their wake.
Our moods are what remains within us after the train
of life has passed.
Then we can listen, watch, feel.
You really enjoy, in the end, stopping for a while....
You have finally understood and accepted that moods are the beating heart of our connection to the world.
Now you often have the feeling that your soul has begun to exist, to breathe harder.
You still don't know what
"your soul" is, but you confusingly sense that "that thing" exists.
And you also know that your life can be both sensitive and serene.
Little by little you have changed.
Thanks to those little moments made of nothing and everything.
Shavings of existence, feathers of life fallen from the sky.
