Our research projects may be multidisciplinary, bringing together experts from different medical specialties according to the needs of each study. Although many projects are surgery-oriented, they frequently involve close collaboration with colleagues from Radiology, Internal Medicine (particularly General Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Infectious Diseases), Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as other medical and surgical specialties. Therefore, we warmly welcome medical students, residents, fellows, specialists, and researchers from these disciplines to collaborate with us. We believe that multidisciplinary teamwork strengthens research quality, promotes innovation, and ultimately improves patient care.
