One Nation has built its support by promising to end mass immigration, but seemingly overnight they’ve changed their policy to now be “not too different” to Labor’s.
If a policy written clearly on One Nation’s website can suddenly become negotiable once political and industry pressure arrives, what about the other promises on that website?
Their website commits to repealing all hate speech laws, abolishing all censorship bodies, and holding a free speech referendum to enshrine it in our Constitution. But when do you hear this commitment come out of Pauline’s mouth?
Even as Pauline Hanson herself is sued by another senator over racism, she simply wants to “fight 18C”. Why not abolish it? Why not stand with us on August 30?
March for Australia is not a One Nation campaign, and our support for any political party is conditional. Politicians do not get loyalty simply because they call themselves right wing. They get support when they deliver what Australians elected them to do.
Mass immigration has become politically impossible to ignore because ordinary Australians forced it onto the agenda during the first March for Australia last August. Free speech needs exactly the same pressure.
That is what August 30 is about.
We are going to put patriots into the streets whether One Nation joins us or not. In many ways, it’s going to be even more symbolic if they don’t. We are going to show every politician in the country that ending mass immigration matters, restoring free speech matters, and neither issue is negotiable.
One Nation will not improve because its supporters make excuses for it. It will improve when its supporters make it politically painful to betray them.
Our message is simple: Stop mass immigration. Give Australians back their freedom of speech.
