"When Pigs Fly"
This phrase is used to describe something that is so unlikely to happen that it might as well be impossible.
Long ago, there was a farmer who loved to brag about his pigs. He’d go on and on about how smart, strong, and fast they were—so much that one day, he claimed his pigs were so amazing they could probably fly. The villagers, tired of his tall tales, decided to play a prank. They built a giant slingshot and, one quiet morning, launched a pig right into the air. The pig, of course, didn’t actually fly—it just soared for a moment before gravity took over. But from that day on, whenever someone would make an outrageous claim, the villagers would laugh and say, "Sure, and pigs will fly too!" The phrase stuck, and now we use it to mean something that's never going to happen.
