Another Robotaxi Partner for Uber - Baidu in Dubai#UBER now offers Baidu's fully driverless Apollo Go cars in Dubai. No safety driver. Riders who order UberX or Uber Comfort in Umm Suqeim and Jumeirah can simply get one, or choose the autonomous option directly.
This is the same strategy I wrote about before: Pony.ai in Europe, Wayve in Japan, now Baidu in the Middle East. Uber does not build the cars, it brings the passengers.
