Our Celtic ancestors gave the sun, a symbol of universal life, a schematic representation, reproduced on helmets, coins, signs, and in general decoration. In various forms, the image of the solar journey is therefore our oldest national emblem. The modern adaptation of this emblem is known as the Celtic cross. It is the best representation of our desire to unite the most distant past of our people with the hope of a greater future.
