A bit of what I'm learning this semester.
Learned about IDEO today from my Introduction to Human-Computer Interaction class. IDEO is a company that essentially focuses on redesigning existing products.
The most interesting aspect of their work is their approach to the process of redesigning. From Needfinding, Ideation to mock-ups and then final solution, they encourage wild ideas, rapid iteration, and raw contextual inquiry where all team members actually go out and how people do things to understand the breakpoints.
Reflecting on their methods, I feel like this is arguably one of the most important things to know for startup founders to create solutions that matter and not just sound important.
