She Calls Me ‘Daddy’ Here’s How We Got There
You magnificent bastard,
As mentioned recently, yours truly is now in a committed relationship.
Which means my days of swiping, matching, flirting and attempting to corrupt seemingly respectable women are, at least for the foreseeable future, behind me.
A moment of silence, please.
Thank you.
But before I became an honest, domesticated gentleman, I accumulated a rather substantial archive from the dating-app trenches.
And today, I’m opening the vault.
Because if you’re still single and using dating apps, there’s something you need to understand:
Most men text like terrified interns emailing the CEO.
Stiff. Polite. Careful.
“Hey 😊 how was your weekend?”
“Did you get up to much?”
“What are your hobbies?”
Jesus Christ.
You’re trying to seduce her, not complete her census questionnaire.
So anyway, today yours truly is going to show you an actual conversation from my single days and break down how I moved it from a dating app, to WhatsApp, to voice notes, to phone calls, to the ‘hotel, motel, Holiday Inn.’
You ready?!
Here come the pain!
1. SET THE SENSUAL FRAME IMMEDIATELY
If a woman opens the sexual door, don’t stand outside it wearing a bicycle helmet and asking whether you’re allowed inside. Nor should you dive in head first like a lust-crazed horndog desperate to spray his beige seed in every possible direction.
She opened with:
Her: “Damn you make me horny.”
Now, many men would immediately lose all functioning brain cells and become the textual equivalent of a Labrador puppy hearing the word walkies.
Instead, I sent:
Me: “Maybe something needs to be done about that.”
That’s it.
I didn’t send seventeen aubergine emojis.
I didn’t start describing everything I wanted to do to her soft, supple frame.
I simply accepted the sexual frame and led it forward.
That’s important.
Sexual confidence doesn’t mean desperately sexualising every conversation.
It means that when mutual sexual tension appears, you’re comfortable enough to stand within it and not run away from it.
2. SCREEN FOR CONFIDENCE
Then I pushed a little further:
Me: “Do you think you could handle it?”
Her: “I like a challenge.”
Beautiful.
Because notice what’s happened.
I’m not trying to convince her that I’m worthy of her attention.
She’s telling me she’s capable of handling me.
This is one of the biggest shifts I teach.
Stop treating every attractive woman like you’ve accidentally been granted an audience with Daenerys Stormborn, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, Mother of Dragons, Princess of Dragonstone and Protector of the Seven Kingdoms.
She’s a woman you matched with on Tinder, mate. Calm the fuck down.
You’re evaluating her too.
Does she have confidence?
Can she flirt?
Can she play?
Does she actually fit into your world?
Dating gets considerably more enjoyable when you realise the audition has two chairs.
3. REMEMBER YOU’RE THE PRIZE
I followed with:
“I like a woman who likes a challenge.”
Then:
“Timid girls are so boring.”
Again, I’m communicating what I like.
Most men crawl across broken glass for female approval.
Don’t.
Being the prize doesn’t mean behaving like an arrogant prick who wears loafers without socks snd sells cryptocurrency courses from Dubai.
It means genuinely believing:
“I’m interested in you. But I’m also finding out whether you’re right for me.”
That’s a very different energy.
And women can feel it.
And they love it too.
4. GET OFF THE APP
Eventually I wrote:
“What’s your number? Let’s talk for 5 mins tonight so I can make sure you don’t look like this.”
And attached a ridiculous photograph.
Why?
Because Tinder is where you meet.
It shouldn’t become where your relationship celebrates its third anniversary.
If you’ve exchanged 67 messages and you’re still discussing Netflix shows inside Tinder, congratulations:
You’ve become her favourite free chatbot.
Move things forward.
Dating app → WhatsApp/Instagram → call → date.
5. BE PLAYFUL
