Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Site QA/QC Engineer to join the team at Adani Agri Logistics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in material testing, site inspections, quality control procedures, and ensuring the adherence to standards throughout the construction process. This role demands a strong knowledge of construction materials, quality standards, and IS codes for civil engineering materials, with a focus on effective documentation and quality audits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Material Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.) and ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
* Site Inspections: Perform site inspections to ensure that construction work is executed in accordance with the approved design and quality standards.
* Concrete Mix Design: Prepare and verify concrete mix designs (M25 & M30) and assess their suitability for different site conditions.
* Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs): Identify and document non-conformities, deviations, and issues, and prepare NCRs, observations, and reports.
* Field Quality Plan (FQP): Develop and implement Field Quality Plans for the site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
* Material Testing: Conduct material testing and monitor the ratio and percentage of materials used in construction, including soil testing, aggregate tests, cube tests, and compaction tests.
* Quality Control Procedures: Oversee the application of all QA/QC processes for materials and workmanship, ensuring the project’s compliance with industry standards.
* RMC Plant Inspections: Conduct RMC (Ready Mix Concrete) plant inspections and ensure all testing points meet approval requirements.
* Testing Procedures: Conduct tests and analyse data, including calculating CVR values for soil, rolling margin of steel, and ensuring the correct preparation and usage of concrete mixes.
* Documentation & Auditing: Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, and quality audits. Ensure that all documentation complies with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
* IS Codes & Specifications: Ensure all materials and construction practices comply with the relevant IS codes and specifications for civil engineering.
* Shuttering & Reinforcement Procedures: Conduct site inspections related to shuttering, reinforcement, and other critical site activities to ensure proper execution.
