About the Role
KCH Consumer Healthcare Limited is seeking a Production Supervisor & Packing Shift In-Charge to plan and supervise packaging activities, ensuring compliance with GMP and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and supervise packaging activities during the assigned shift
* Verify correct Batch Packaging Record (BPR), materials, and product before start-up
* Ensure line clearance before start-up and after batch completion
* Monitor packaging operations for compliance with GMP and approved procedures
* Allocate and supervise operators on packaging lines
* Ensure equipment is clean, fit for use, and operating correctly
* Monitor in-process checks and packaging quality requirements
* Reconcile packaging materials and finished products
* Review and complete BPR documentation accurately
* Report and investigate deviations, breakdowns, and quality issues
* Coordinate with QA, Warehouse, Engineering, and Maintenance
* Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality
* Enforce safety, hygiene, and housekeeping requirements
* Train and coach packaging operators on SOPs and GMP
* Ensure proper labeling, coding, serialization, and traceability
* Participate in validation batches, change controls, CAPA, and audit preparation
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications with proven supervisory experience in manufacturing/pharmaceutical packaging
* Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements
* Ability to plan, organize, and monitor packaging activities
* Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
* Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
* Demonstrated leadership and team coaching skills
