Hi guys, actually my manager is very difficult to deal with. If we don't do what he says or disagree with him, he gives low ratings. Last year, one of my friends got a low rating, was put on PIP, and was eventually removed from the company. He always seems to support his favourite employees more than others.
I'm a JL3 and have been actively working in this team for the last 2 years. I got commendable ratings in both years and also received many appreciation mails from the client.
But in the last 6 months, I've had some differences with my manager on a few topics. Even after doing so much work, he keeps pointing out my mistakes. Sometimes, I implement something based on his suggestion, but if it goes wrong, he questions me on the client call. When I say I did it based on his suggestion, he gets angry with me.
Now I'm worried that he might give me a low rating this year just to create a reason to remove me from the company. But I know how hard I've worked.
If I get a low rating, can I send an email to HR with my previous ratings, client appreciation mails, and the positive feedback I've received for my work?
Sometimes I feel like they're treating me this way because I'm at a lower position in the team😔
