Not a neutral “Palestinian monument,” but a memorial glorifying a terrorist involved in attacks against Israelis and presenting him as a “martyr” to the next generation.
Zvi Sukkot was right about the danger of honoring terrorists. But a Knesset member cannot replace the state, use soldiers as political cover and turn a serious security issue into a viral clip.
Israel needs strength. It also needs wisdom.
