Israel this week took possession of a new German-made submarine, the INS Drakon.
The Drakon is the third and final Dolphin-AIP class submarine acquired by the Israel Navy.
Equipped with state-of-the-art systems, the submarine positions Israel at the forefront of global military technology and enhances the operational flexibility of the Israeli Navy for many years to come.
