Social Art as a Way of Understanding Yourself
A human being is a completely unique system. Throughout our lives, we exist at the intersection of the biological, the social, and the spiritual, combining all these dimensions into something truly individual and one of a kind.
Without a doubt, every person is a separate universe — one that has no equivalent. Yet each of us needs to feel understood and accepted.
Our experiences are unique, but many people encounter similar situations. This becomes especially visible in cases of forced migration, when we see countless stories of queer people who made this difficult decision to protect themselves, preserve their identity, and defend their right to live authentically.
These are the issues explored by social art.
It examines the backgrounds, causes, and consequences. It highlights the unique experiences of each queer person, showing how many different life stories can emerge from experiences of homophobia and transphobia.
Federico Art Lab is a series of creative laboratories focused on self-discovery through the lens of social art.
We invite you to explore your own experiences and pain, and to discover that creativity can become a friend and a guide toward a new reality.

Соціальне мистецтво як спосіб пізнання себе
Людина — це абсолютно унікальна система. Протягом усього життя ми існуємо на перетині біологічного, соціального та духовного, поєднуючи все це в щось неповторне й індивідуальне.
Без сумніву можна сказати: кожна людина — це окремий Всесвіт, аналогів якому неможливо знайти. Але водночас кожному з нас важливо бути зрозумілим і прийнятим.
Наш досвід є унікальним, але часто з подібними ситуаціями стикаються й інші люди. Особливо це помітно, коли йдеться про вимушену міграцію: ми бачимо безліч історій квір-людей, які зробили цей крок заради власної безпеки, збереження себе та права жити відповідно до своєї ідентичності й орієнтації.
Саме ці теми досліджує соціальне мистецтво.
Воно розглядає передумови, причини та наслідки. Воно висвітлює унікальний досвід кожної квір-людини, показуючи, скільки різних життєвих сценаріїв можуть виникати через гомофобію та трансфобію.
Federico Art Lab — це серія творчих лабораторій, спрямованих на пізнання себе через призму соціального мистецтва.
