"Urban Flower" is a documentary-inspired solo performance about the search for oneself, the price of freedom, and the right to be seen.
At the heart of the story is a transgender woman whose personal journey is shaped by alienation, social rejection, forced change, and the constant struggle for the right to remain herself. Her story is not just the story of one life. It is the story of thousands of people who face discrimination, misunderstanding, and the challenge of rebuilding their future from the ground up.
The performance explores issues that are becoming increasingly important in contemporary European society:
the right to identity and dignity;
the visibility of transgender and queer people;
the consequences of migration and forced displacement;
the impact of war, violence, and social isolation on individuals;
the search for home, safety, and community.
Through documentary storytelling, original music, visual imagery, and physical theatre, "Urban Flower" creates a space for dialogue, empathy, and an encounter with experiences that so often remain unseen.
It is a performance about pain and hope.
About vulnerability and inner strength.
About how even among concrete and asphalt, a flower can bloom.

У центрі історії — трансгендерна жінка, чия особиста доля проходить через досвід відчуження, суспільного неприйняття, вимушених змін і постійної боротьби за право залишатися собою. Її історія — це не лише розповідь про одне життя. Це історія тисяч людей, які стикаються з дискримінацією, нерозумінням і необхідністю заново будувати своє майбутнє.
Вистава порушує питання, які сьогодні стають дедалі важливішими для європейського суспільства:
право на ідентичність і гідність;
видимість трансгендерних і квір-людей;
наслідки міграції та вимушеного переміщення;
вплив війни, насильства та соціальної ізоляції на людину;
пошук дому, безпеки та спільноти.
Через документальний текст, авторську музику, візуальні образи та фізичний театр «Міська квітка» створює простір для діалогу, співпереживання та зустрічі з досвідом, який надто часто залишається невидимим.
