Sana’a – SABA :
Government spokesperson and Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf Al-Din affirmed that Yemen is ready to respond to repeated Israeli attacks targeting civilian facilities in the capital, Sana’a.
During his visit today to the Yemen Oil Company station to inspect the damage caused by the Israeli attack, Minister Sharaf Al-Din stressed that these aggressions will not deter Yemen from its firm stance in support of Palestine, a position rooted in religious, humanitarian, and ethical principles.
He reiterated that the Yemeni people’s position will remain steadfast and unshakable, regardless of the sacrifices, challenges, or losses incurred.
The minister described the attacks as a renewed aggressive Israeli strike on Sana’a, targeting a fuel station with employees and civilians present, as well as the Hazeez power station, which supplies electricity to citizens and hospitals.
He noted that these acts are part of a broader pattern of Israeli aggression, directly backed by the United States, aimed at pressuring Yemen to abandon its support for Gaza. He confirmed that the Government of Change and Construction has initiated the evacuation of the injured and the extinguishing of fires, minimizing casualties and losses.
Minister Sharaf Al-Din added that the Yemeni Armed Forces successfully repelled a major aerial attack by Israeli fighter jets, preventing further harm to the Yemeni people and infrastructure.
He called on the Yemeni population to stand united against these criminal Israeli attacks, emphasizing that such aggression will only strengthen Yemenis’ resolve and perseverance in their sacred struggle—the “Promised Victory and Holy Jihad”—aimed at halting the attacks and lifting the siege on Gaza and its heroic residents, who are facing acts of complete genocide.
