資料中心用電量佔愛爾蘭用電量的 23%
愛爾蘭中央統計局 (CSO) 的資料顯示，2025 年資料中心用電量佔愛爾蘭用電量的 23%，而 2015 年這一比例僅為 5%。大型資料中心的用電量在 2025 年成長了 10%，從 2024 年的 6973 GWh 增至 2025 年的 7663 GWh；同期所有其他部門的用電量僅成長 2%。相較之下，城市居民用電量佔總用電量的 18%，鄉村居民用電量則為 9%。與其他地區類似，愛爾蘭也出現了反對資料中心的抗議活動。該國擁有超過 80 座資料中心。
