Major Dixant Thapa was a brave and dedicated officer who served during the heightened tensions along the LAC in eastern Ladakh.
While ensuring the safe induction of Infantry Combat Vehicles at Karu, he rushed to prevent an accident involving an ICV and was critically injured. He made the supreme sacrifice before the age of 26.
