2nd Lieutenant Karun Kanti Majumdar displayed courage and dedication during the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
Serving as the Intelligence Officer of 10 Bihar during the Battle of Akhaura, he bravely performed his duties under intense enemy fire and made the supreme sacrifice at the young age of 22.
