Bitget has announced a phased exit from Japan, gradually ending services for residents in the country.
The exchange will stop accepting new Japanese users on August 3, transition existing accounts to close-only mode on November 1, and liquidate remaining positions by December 31, 2026. Users will continue to be able to withdraw their crypto assets.
